I visited my niece in another state who was having her new daughter blessed and welcomed to our family. Here is a sample of the cuteness I told you about last week. I love my new niece!

My niece Aubrey has adopted, or I might even say, saved the life of this sweet little angel from Ethiopia. Marren has a health issue that others thought might be undesirable and was passed over at the orphanage from other prospective families. Aubrey investigated the health issue and felt like it was something she could handle. This little baby was meant to be with my niece. Aubrey had chosen her daughter's name years before she got her, as we all do as young girls, we think of our favorite names of our future children. Aubrey called her future daughter Marren from the start. When she got the information about this little baby and decided she wanted her, she found out that her birth mother had given her the same name, spelled Meron. Is this a coincidence? I don't think so.

Look at those eyes

Marren and her Paw Paw. I love how she is looking at him.

When my sister Valerie and and I got ahold of this little cutie pie, we just had to fix her hair. We had been home for the airport less than 30 minutes when I busted out the hair flowers to put in her hair. It was so fun. She lets you do whatever to make her look cute- and she leaves it in! Marren looks beautiful in every color. Valerie set her alarm early so she could be the first one to see Marren when she woke up and to feed her her bottle.

My sister, Tracy, goes by the grandma name of YaYa. YaYa has a weakness for buying REALLY adorable clothes for this baby! lol, she is the best dressed baby I have ever seen!

She likes to scrunch up her face to make you laugh.

It looks like she wears eye liner. Gorgeous.

Marren loves her mommy!

Aubrey is the best mother! She is conscientious, loving, nurturing, and very happy. Marren is so well adjusted and content. We had so much fun being with her because she is so pleasant to be around. She DOES NOT fuss. Ever. She is the sweetest little baby.

My sister, Kelly had to take a turn with her as we all were kind of waiting in line to hold her.

When Marren eats, it is the most hilarious thing. She opens her mouth so big! Her babysitter taught her to open wide and so now it is just the funniest thing. You can see Aubrey doing it, showing me what the babysitter does. Marren copies everything you do. She is so smart.

I am so glad I got to see my sisters again and visit other family members. We DO have a brother too. We adore him and wish he were standing by us.

This is my dad and Morene.
