I woke up this morning, came out of my room and noticed how bright it seemed outside. Thomas joyfully announced, "look it snowed!" Ugh. You can't be serious. It's October 12th for heaven's sake! Could it be true? I looked out the window and yes indeed, it snowed. The grass was completely covered. It was totally white outside. I had to get ready for church and didn't have time to take a ton of pictures, but did manage to capture this shot of VerDell who was just as excited as my kids were about the snow. He was running around and having a ball with Cookie out in the snow. When I let them in, they both had snowballs stuck to their hair. VerDell thought this was the greatest thing ever. He was totally spazzing out and licking up every snowball that dropped. I guess some people and creatures think it's cool. I just can't go there yet. It's not even Halloween!!!

What a sweet picture of VerDell! It's so cute that they both love the snow. Like mother, like son, apparently.
Love the pictures. I wish I had seen them pouncing in the snow! I do love that VerDell! I am with you on the snow thing. Last time it snowed at halloween, Alexa got pneumonia. Yea, not looking forward to this weather! I think we only had 3 months of spring, summer and fall! Ahh!
Good thing it melted in about 2 minutes. I was about to be depressed, with our last snowfall being on June 7th and all! Something just doesn't seem quite right with that.
Cute Julie! I love how the doggies get so excited for the snow. I just wish that I was excited as they are...
Oh, man, that is so sad. We were swimming in our pool yesterday and the only coat I have worn all year was when I flew to Boston this week. What a cute picture of VerDell. I couldn't see the snow until I clicked on it. All the Halloween costumes sold in stores here in Austin are way to hot to wear for the kids. We have opposite issues. I always have to find something that my kids won't burn up in!
Like I have said a million times I think, "kids and dogs." There are so many similarities!! It is a little early, but I'm actually looking forward to the snow as well(only because the boys can't wait)--as long as it isn't snowing during any Utah football games!
Georgie gets those snowballs in her fur as well. I don't know how, but it somehow manages to turn into ice and the only way I can get it out is to put her in the bath.
