Thomas is a happy boy. He is cheerful 99.9% of the time and can make you smile when you are feeling down. Which is why I need him to be home now. I need two innocent minds that can rub off on me. He and Brinley are actually off track now and I am so glad! They have a break from school until November 10th. This election has hacked me off like crazy, and we haven't even had it yet. For over a year we have had election coverage, reports of polls and news coverage of candidates. I say, ENOUGH ALREADY! How is it possible that we Americans have chosen the two worst possible candidates to represent our main political parties? ( the media chose their favorite.) Someone tell me how can we be such idiots!? All I can say is CALGON, TAKE ME AWAY!!

There's nothing we can do about it. Nothing. (Actually lots of prayers are in order about now!) Just take a deep breath and get on with life!

From what I recall, the last few elections have included not the best of candidates.
Even funnier, last night I was reading the voter booklet that comes in the mail about all of the local candidates running for various things, and I had to laugh at "SuperDell" Schanze's "totally awesome" comments. Good thing nobody's going to vote for him...

Ugh. Amen to that! I, too, am sick of the elections and I cannot believe that these are the two candidates we have to pick from!?!?!? I know that there are better ones out there!
