A week ago we sold Chips Ahoy, our last puppy to be sold. Pictured above is VerDell, the one I can't seem to part with! He is so cute, just like a little fur ball, in fact, that is exactly what he is. The kids told Madison we sold all of the puppies and she was DEVASTATED that we sold VerDell. Well, we were kind of bluffing. On her birthday we were video chatting with her and Thomas and Brinley walked in front of the computer with our furr ball in arms (complete with a red ribbon tied around his neck) and said "Here is your birthday present!" Madison started squeeling, "VERDELL! oh I am so happy, I can't believe it, you didn't sell VerDell!" And then came the tears. She was bawling. SCORE! I think we made her day. So now all I have to do is housebreak her birthday present and then we will be all set!

That's such a precious picture. In my defense, I wasn't bawling. I got a little teary, that's all. ^_^
An emotional woman in our family? I would never imagine it. lol Madison fits right in, huh? What a wonderful birthday gift.

hey Madison's Mom! i couldnt help but look at your blog! its so cute! and i love the name of your blog "my purple room" because the one back in South Jordan that i have Is acutally Purple! or Lavendar:) I am so excited you kept a puppy!
