Morgan was cruising around on these stilts like they were what she always walks with. When she puts her mind to something, watch out because she will do it. (within reason!) She now has her drivers permit and is counting down the days to get her license in March. She is more than half way through with her required 40 hours of driving with mom. When she is not bugging me to drive, she is saving her money to pay for her high school orchestra tour to New York city in April. She and I love listening to the Wicked soundtrack together and we also love to decorate together. Of course all of my girls and I love to shop together, what a surprise!
Morgan raised 3 chickens this year and did such a great job as they were all laying every day and providing us with yummy eggs. LaFawnduh was quite the socialite hen and had issues with staying "cooped" up and one day wandered into the neighbors yard and met her demise with their equally social Labrador dogs. Morgan was devastated, but cheerfully said, "Oh well, maybe next spring I can get an Anacona chicken!" She got over it really fast and saved some feathers to make some earrings. Watch out Martha.

Ha ha ha, how funny. Morgie's a great girlie.
Morgan Mary is magnificent. It is so nice that Lindsey has a cousin the same age as her to be friends with and love visiting when we get the rare chance. Morgan is so remarkable at everything I've seen her do. She is self-motivated, mature, meticulous, a fantastic pianist, seamstress, chef, assistant to her mom, and more. I think she should spell her name MOREgan because she always goes the extra mile and does MORE than is expected.
She is so sweet to Lindsey and always makes the cutest litttle cards and gifts for her. She is so feminine and lovely.
I think she and Lindsey should try to room at EFY this summer for their second to last year. Should we plan on it? Lindsey could to to BYU or Morgan could come here? I know they've both discussed it previously. What a fun time they'd have to get to be around each other for five days straight!
I can't believe you let Morgan paint your wall. I would have been so nervous, and worried that she might ruin it. But she did an excellent job on that vine. I love the 23rd Psalm you put up there too.
Morgan is so sweet with all her little animals. She's like a little Dr. Doolittle. I hope that one day Morgan will be able to come visit us in Texas. It's sad that we have lived here for almost 8 years and none of your kids have ever been here. Morgan (and the others) visted us one other time that I can recall, when we lived in Colorado several years ago, and your family came to visit for Thanksgiving briefly. The invitation is always open and we'd love to have the company!
Wow Morgan, I love pets too. And you look really pretty! That's cool that you have so many cousins your age. I think you're the only girl cousin my age that I have on both sides. The second oldest cousin on my dad's side is about 12. =]
Anyway... I love you! -Lindsey-
