the fruits of our Labor Day

I have always wanted to make escabeche, I'm not sure if that is the right name, but I will keep it because I like the way it sounds.
I love this stuff on enchiladas.
Just imagine, whole garlic, onion, carrots, herbs, and peppers bathing in vinegar: then eat that with your sour cream enchiladas, YUM!

Our grape vine is spreading and giving us more and more fruit every year.

Tom made grape juice and pickles.
We didn't grow the cucumbers, we let someone else do that for us, but we did grow the dill!

This coming week I will tackle the salsa.
