RUSH fans

Madison and Tom were all ready for the RUSH concert. Tom has been a fan of the band since I have known him and about 2 years ago he got Madison into them. One thing about Madison is when she likes something, she goes all out full force, obsessive fan mode. She memorizes all the songs, word for word, listens constantly, downloads photos onto her laptop, reads their autobiographies, etc. (think of the 10 times read each Harry Potter book) Anyway, when she heard RUSH was coming to concert, she was so very excited and bought tickets the day they went on sale. She has been looking forward to this concert almost as much as I looked forward to the Micheal Buble concert. :) The shirt Tom is wearing is actually Madisons but she usually sleeps in it because it is not a flattering to the womans body shirt, like most rock band t-shirts. She couldn't find one that suited her, so she came up with what I thought was a brilliant idea. In her photo download stash of RUSH shots, she printed her favorite one on transfer paper and ironed it on to a woman's t-shirt she bought at Target. I thought she was very clever to do this because A: she got the exact picture she wanted, B: she got a nice fitting shirt, and C: she used her creativity Yea Madison!
They are at the concert right now and called to let me hear one song, it sounded great. I hope they are having a great time.

That's a really cute picture. I love Madison's hair like that. It reminds me of when she was a little girl. What a cutie pie, to take her dad to a Rush concert with her. I'm sure they had fun. Tell her Uncle Kelly is going to be jealous!

I love her shirt and think her idea was fantastic and it turned out great!

I'm so excited that you're posting more often, Julie. I'm sure Tracy is too. Keep up the blogging! It didn't take too long, did it?

Mom, mom, mom. You really need to get your facts right. I've read all the Harry Potter books TWELVE times, not ten. Sheesh! :) The concert was incredible, I loved every minute of it.

My shirt is so cool! I really like how it turned out.

(Jules, here's a comment for Madison.)

Hi Madison...you're silly. Since you've read it a dozen times, I guess I can skip it! (just kidding) Good for you. I hope you had fun at the concert.
