Madison's first birthday
She is now an adult.
That means that I am the mother of an adult.
I know this isn't about me at all.
But it blows me away that my daughter is an adult!
I really believe that the picture above was taken only a few months ago!
Next thing you know she is going to move out on her own and start living her own life or something. Sheesh, what nerve!
Anyhoo, happy 21st birthday Madison. You really add the Crunch Berries to my bowl of cereal.
I love you :)

And how did she spend her birthday?? Playing piano for the primary program practice--well, ok, it was only a couple hours, but what a woman!!
I have to say, though, that of course it's about you too...you are the mom! It wasn't until I had kids of my own that I realized mom's should be getting some kind of recognition for carrying them for 9 months, and then however long labor takes--maybe a little present? Heck, I'd settle for a donut!! JK, but it's kinda funny that nobody thinks about the mom on a day like that. Oh well. I tried.
Happy Birthday (again) Madison. Welcome to adulthood!!
I had a fabulous birthday, primary program practice included. Thanks to everyone for all the well-wishes and congratulations. It's going to be a very good year, I think.
We are sad we'll miss Madisons farewell. How exciting though, and happy birthday. btw, I use adobe photoshop elements 5.0.
