The reason for our trip

Thomas' baptism

Thomas and Nathaniel, walk into the waters of the Susquehanna river in Pennsylvania. Nathaniel being 16 years old, is a Priest in our faith, and has the authority to baptize. I asked Thomas last fall who he wanted to baptize him and he said, "Sano!"
I thought that was so sweet he wanted his brother to do it. I had not even suggested that, it was his own idea. Nathaniel performed this sacred ordinance with grace and dignity. We are very proud of him.

Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
Acts 2:28

There were 23 of us there, Tom's brother, Jed and his family also came out to have their little Sam baptized, and then Tom's little sister, Nancy and her family who live in PA were there. It was such a great day, one that we will never forget.

Nice pictures, Julie. The river looks kind of low, but it was full enough for the little guys! I'm glad that Thomas' baptism went well.

So very cool! Matt (my oldest) was baptized in the East China Sea at high tide...these are the things that make incredible memories.
