I wanted a picture of each one of my kids and me today for Mother's Day. I also wanted to show off these beautiful lilacs that Tom cut and arranged for me and brought into our room this morning to greet me and serve me a delicious breakfast he and the kids prepared of crepes and eggs frittata.
This picture cracked me up because Madison thinks I'm ridiculous, as evident in this photo. She is the level head in the family. (along with Tom)
Morgan took all the pictures here, except this one, obviously. She has a great smile.
When Nathaniel was born, he had a droopy eyelid, which I thought was adorable. It still is.
Brinley is my youngest daughter, it's hard to let her grow up, but I think it is inevitable. She is so loving.
Thomas is so sweet and cuddly, talk about hard letting someone grow up!!!! To quote a line in a book, "I'll love you forever, I'll like you for always, as long as I'm living, my baby you'll be."
Okay, why am I bawling right now!? I love my kids so much. Each one of them adds a unique element in our home. Each one of them makes me smile for a different reason. I'm glad I am their mother.

What a sweet post! I LOVE your haircut! Your kids are adorable, too. So fun to see everyone.
What a delight. Thank you for sharing, my friend!
xo
Oh my heck - you can totally see each kids' personality in the photos! Morgan - smiley and spunky, Brinley - happy-go-lucky, Nathaniel, the unimpressed teenage boy, and Madison! The look on her face - LOL!! Sooooo her!
Aww, come on, you chose pretty much the worst picture of you and me that Morgan took! I liked the one of me doing the Vulcan salute much better.
P.S. I love you, too! You're wonderful. I couldn't ask for a better mother.
I love this post! You guys have the cutest kids. Seriously, I love the picture of you and Thomas. Aren't these boys at this age just the sweetest things ever?! At least most of the time! ;) I think you should post the vulcan salute!! I'm curious now just to see it.
OKAY, I am all welled up too! Great photos - your family is beautiful as are you!
What super good-looking kids and several nice shots of your new do too!
