Happy 12th Birthday Brinley

some of the names I call her: Fluffy, Twinkletoes, Princess Brinley, Cutie Pie, Paige, Brinny, Miss Brinley

Brinley had her cousins over on Friday and had a sleepover, complete with hours of Dance Dance Revolution, giggles and a movie and popcorn. There was only one cousin missing, and that was Emma, who moved out of state last summer, so it seemed a bit incomplete. They still managed to have fun despite her absence.

They knew exactly how they wanted to pose for these pictures. I just took orders.

Tonight, her actual birthday was celebrated with a cake Thomas made by himself. He told Tom, "I made the cake all by myself, Mommie didn't do anything."

Is it really possible that this little girl is not so little anymore? How can it be that she is one year away from being a teen? I have been told MANY times that her smile can light up a room. That light can also turn off like a light switch if you know what I mean! She is, after all, almost a teenager. We love our miss Brinley. Happy 12th Birthday.

Wow, I just can't believe that Brinny is already twelve. She'll always be eight to me, I think.

What a fun birthday party for her! What presents did she get?

You can add another nickname to the list: Julie's mini-me! Brinley is the cutest thing and it will be fun getting to know her in young women's now.

Ahh, happy birthday Brinley Paige! I love my cute little niece. She's as sweet as can be and leaves clever and kind comments sometimes on my blog that certainly put a smile on my face. It is fantastic and unusual that she has SO MANY cousins her age! I guess not when you come from a family with as many children as your husband does, right? What a special, delightful daughter you have.

I'm happy AND sad that Brinley is 12! Happy because she is growing into such a darling young woman. Sad because.....what am I going to do without her smiling, happy, singing face in Primary?!? Aww, she will be missed.

Those party cousins are a crack-up with all their poses :oP
