This is my main squeeze, my totally hot husband, Tom. He is adventurous in these photos, you can see as he soaks in all the wonders of the beautiful islands of Hawaii. The picture with the green shirt he's hangin' in a banyan tree and on the right he just propelled himself off a rope into a pool that is 20 feet down. This was such a riot for us. Hiking to this spot was absolutely insane. I would not recommend the faint of heart to attempt it. The actual name of this place is Kipu falls.The picture with Tom and I on the bike is a fun one. We were cycling down the mountain in Maui (actually the volcano) with rain suits on. It was so fun to see the island this way.

Oh, Julie! You're just trying to make EVERYONE (like me) jealous! It worked! I LOVE those Hawaii pictures and had to laugh when I saw that awesome picture of Tom diving into the water. He looks like he's having a blast!
I love my brother-in-law! I'm glad he married you and takes good care of you, Sis! I'll always be grateful for our missions (Tom and me) to The Netherlands and Belgium, so I could find a hubby for my little sis.
Here's where you can actually be thankful for my persistence and powers of persuasion, since it took TWO mission reunions for me to convince each of you that you needed to meet and go on a blind date. Then the rest was history. What a success story. You two make the cutest couple.
Those little made-up stories I told to Tom of "my sister thinks you're cute and wants to go out with you" and to you, "Tom thinks you're cute and wants to go out with you" paid off! If it weren't for that, I wouldn't have all my delightful little VDB nieces and nephews, and THAT would be tragic!

I don't think thanks is quite enough to tell you Kelly for finding my eternal mate for me. You are the best match maker ever, you were so devious in the whole deal. I loved it! I think the reason you went to Holland on your mission is so that you could meet Tom and introduce him to me. And the reverse for Tom. It definitely was L.A.F.S. and continues to be that way. He is my sweetheart for sure.
Such a great time in Hawaii. I have to say that the pic of Tom flying into the water brings back a few bad memories for me. Think "abandoned in parking lot, missing out on half our day in Kauaii".
Good times for sure!
The name of the volcano is Haleakala :)
