Brinley's Feild Trip with Mommy

Posing in front of the hills of Hollywood

No California beach is complete without a surfer.
Brinley was crawling after this seagul for a very long time, trying to get close to it. She was very entertained.

Maryanne called me a few weeks ago and asked if I would like to join her and Haylie on a little outing to Los Angeles to use up a free night stay at a hotel and go to the American Girl Place and the next day see the play, Wicked. It sounded extravagant and totally fun. I was in. I didn't tell Brinley where we were going. She had no idea we were even going on an airplane. Once we got to the airport she started giggling. Haylie saw the gate and the sign saying Los Angleles and pointed that out to Brinley. When we got to the LAX they saw a sign for Wicked and that is when I told her we were going to see that. She squeeled with excitement!
We had so much fun eating at the American Girl Place Cafe, shopping there and of course the play Wicked was absolutely fantastic. We managed to sneak a peak at the beach, check out some sights in Beverly Hills and stroll along the Hollywood walk of fame.

What a nice treat for the four of you! That little mini hamburger with the flag is so cute. Brinley's outfits are so adorable too. That will be a trip she will not forget! What sweet moms you and Maryanne are. I just love the AG store in Chicago and have been there many times, and spent a small fortune there too. I have always dreamed to take Lindsey there with me. She's still enjoy it, I'm sure, because I did.
